By Thomas Young
Welcome to the first SitStaySpeakOut blog post! We are proud to announce our new organization to the world. Our mission is to educate people about the abuse of animals through the media, films, video and more. By driving people to action through education, we can help put an end to puppy mills and cat mills and stop other institutional mistreatment of our family pets.
We believe only when the majority of people understand these issues and move toward change will real progress be made in improving the lives of animals.
A Voice for Lil Olive Kick-Off
SitStaySpeakOut came to life following the success of the crowdfunding efforts for the film A Voice for Lil Olive. SitStaySpeakOut was formed to provide a tax-deductible option for people supporting the film, an inspiring anti-puppy mill story set for release in late 2016.
The Future of SitStaySpeakOut
SitStaySpeakOut will live on well beyond A Voice for Lil Olive as we support additional projects, videos and other media that educate concerned people about ill treatment of animals, especially animals we call our best friends and family members. We will be looking for new projects to support soon.
We will also sell unique products online at SitStaySpeakOut.org to support animals in need with all proceeds going to the nonprofit to support its mission. We are currently in discussions with companies to supply us with products specifically for rescued pets.
Support Us Today
You can make a tax-deductible donation online or mail a check to our office in Colorado Springs. There are many wonderful nonprofit organizations providing support to rescue dogs and pets, but we believe with a focus on education, we can eliminate the need to rescue them in the fist place!
Please support SitStaySpeakOut and A Voice for Lil Olive today.
